Who We Are?

TICA / CCA-AFC Registered Ragdoll Breeder - YiMeowDoll Cattery

Which include HCM, PKD, Pk-def, PRA-b, Agouti, Longhair, Dilute, and Blood Type among others.

Our Breeding Program

As Respected member of TICA, we ensure that all our Ragdoll cats that we breed are tested and negative for Felv.(Feline Leukemia Virus), F.I.V(Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), DNA tested negative for HCM(Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), and for PKD(Polycystic kidney Disease), this translates to 100% negative in all our ragdoll cats.

Feline_leukemia_virus.jpg

Felv

FeLV belongs to a group of viruses known as ‘oncornaviruses’ and these viruses have the ability to cause the development of tumours (cancer) in infected individuals. Cats infected with FeLV can develop lymphoma  leukaemia and some other tumour

F.I.V

Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is one of the most common and consequential infectious diseases of cats around the world. In infected cats, FIV attacks the immune system, leaving the cat vulnerable to many other infections.

HCM

Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a condition that causes the muscular walls of a cat’s heart to thicken, decreasing the heart’s efficiency and sometimes creating symptoms in other parts of the body.

PKD

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is an inherited disease in cats that causes abnormal cysts (fluid filled sacs) to form in a cat’s kidneys. Polycystic kidney disease is an inherited—or genetic—disease in cats, meaning it is passed on to them by their parents.  It is thought to be the most common inherited disease we see in cats
